Who is Leonardslee Illuminated for?
Tickets need to be pre-booked online
Choose which date and entry time you wish to come to Leonardslee Illuminated
You will be emailed an e-ticket to which will be scanned at the Main Entrance on your arrival
When should I arrive?
Please allow enough time to park and walk to the Main Entrance prior to your entry time - at least 15 minutes
Consider coming early or allow time after the trail to enjoy a ride on the Victorian Vintage Funfair, a drink from the bar, a hot chocolate or some wonderful festive street food (additional charges apply)
What should I bring/wear?
Please come wearing outdoor clothes and coats that are appropriate to the weather conditions at the time
Outdoor footwear is essential for walking through the Gardens in the winter
We request umbrellas are not brought and used, as due to the nature of the event, these may block the view of others wanting to enjoy the illuminated trail
Leonardslee Illuminated is a winter trail along made up grit pathways in a mature landscaped valley with lakes and gardens
The trail is weather proof in normal winter conditions - if it is raining, windy, cold even frosty on the day of your visit, the event will go ahead as planned
Payments at Leonardslee
For security reasons, Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens is a cash-free zone, we only accept payment by card
Food & Drink
Winter Street Food, hot drinks and alcoholic beverages are on offer in the Food & Drink Court alongside the funfair outside the Main Entrance
Visit the Clocktower Cafe or Courtyard Cafe at the beginning and end of the trail for a selection of hot and cold beverages, snacks, cakes and farm shop produce

Photographs & Video
We encourage the taking of photographs and video of the beautiful Leonardslee Illuminated trail if these are for sole personal use - please share with your family & friends on your social media pages
Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome at Leonardslee Illuminated
Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Users
The trail is outside on pathways through woods and there are slopes in some areas that are not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters
Please contact us to discus options for visiting if you have limited mobility
Terms & Conditions of Entry
No unaccompanied under 16s are allowed on the trail
Refunds are only considered on major cancellation, substantial alteration or by special exception determined by Leonardslee Illuminated and should be applied for within 4 weeks of the ticket date.
Leonardslee Illuminated reserves the right to evict a customer without refund, and/or refuse admission.
You may be body/bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving.
Any item(s), reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, will be confiscated.
Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity will be reported to the Police and refused entry. Please see confiscation policy.
Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. Please act responsibly.
Tickets are non-transferable and only valid when purchased from official agents of Leonardslee Illuminated
Leonardslee Illuminated is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including confiscations) or injuries sustained at this event, other than caused as a result of our negligence.
Leonardslee Illuminated operates a Challenge 25 policy. Do not be offended if you are asked for ID!
One free carer ticket is available per deaf or disabled ticket holder.
The following forms of copied evidence make an individual eligible:
- Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate)
- Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate)
- Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)
- Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
- Credability's Access Card
